The general perception of a website is, a platform designed to serve the people on internet. However a website has several functions and elements used by different users; typically these are dedicated to specific users and for particular purposes. Here are types of users who use a website:

General Audience 

A website is used by four types of people users/audience, site owners, creators and Crawlers/web bots. The first types of users are the ones, who interact and fined flexibility in using online store to easily buy from, blogs to get information, social sites to connect with the loved ones, forums for discussions and so on. For them, functionality is
the most important aspect, so they can easily access the information they are looking for, connect with others or shop online and fulfill their demands.

Website Owners:

The second type of users are site owners, as there ultimate aim is to gain more revenue from their online presence in terms of Traffic, subscriptions, sales etc. by choosing a theme that fulfills the needs of a secured (protected website), has a backup option and SEO. The site owner can easily manage website content by themselves and show case product or services with their unique features and benefits of their own business and differentiate them with other e-commerce stores.

The third type of a website users are its creators.
